New Soccer Stadium Vision Confirmed with donation

The 5,300-seat stadium, which will be named the Dr. Mark and Cindy Lynn Stadium, will have a 15,500-square-foot training center with identical locker rooms for the U of L men’s and women’s soccer teams. It is expected to be completed in September 2014 and will be located at Floyd Street and Byrne Avenue.

Behanan Propels Louisville Over Rutgers, 78-66

Chane Behanan showed why he was such a prized recruit Saturday. Behanan posted a career high 23 points along with 11 rebounds. Many of his points coming from arena rocking dunks. With Behanan’s performance the Cardinals extended their winning streak to four and moved to fifth place in the Big East. However, the win was marred by an ankle injury to Louisville big man Gorgui Dieng. Dieng went down early in the second half, but after a few minutes re-entered the match with a taped-up ankle.
