CLICK HERE TO LISTEN TO RUSTY SATELLITE SHOW #12 HERE Every week, the first idea I get for this post is. . . What a week! But that would be bad writing, and give you no idea what I would really be writing about. Still, it was quite a week. I admit to getting pretty fired up when I have Rusty Satellite guests with something to say, and you’d have be an avowed pessimist to spend time with Cardinals baseball coach Dan McDonnell and not feel a little better about the world. McDonnell is a true motivator who uses tools,…
This may be the greatest Rusty Satellite Show yet.
I went to the studio to record this week’s Rusty Satellite Show fresh off a fantastic evening at the Kentucky Center for the Arts. I was part of a packed house that witnessed a moving 4-minute documentary called The Potter’s Field.

Starting off, here’s a big thank you — to Diane Williamson, the area’s phenomenal voice talent, for giving the Rusty Satellite Show some free voice promos. Help is on the way.” My interview with Brendan McCarthy started another week full of media news. This piece in Insider Louisville got a lot of attention for its chronicling the outflow of warm bodies at Sixth and Broadway, while LPM is…
I am sort of getting the hang of this podcast thing.
Adam Lefkoe and Kirk Kandle joined me on the second edition of The Rusty Satellite Show.
Please check out the first edition of The Rusty Satellite Show. The premiere features two guests — Mark Hebert, with whom I discuss his job at U of L and the state of journalism, and Cyndy Tandy, my social media maven friend who shares some insight on KYAnonymous.
