LOUISVILLE (February 17, 2016) – Standing in the Russell neighborhood, Mayor Greg Fischer today launched Phase 2 of the West Louisville Neighborhood Wi-Fi Project, which uses innovative technology to provide free Internet to citizens. Louisville KY wins $50,000 of Amazon credits for transparency efforts

LOUISVILLE (November 11, 2015) –Louisville Metro Government has won a $50,000 credit award from Amazon Web Services (AWS) for its work to improve government performance and transparency through open data and data-driven initiatives. The announcement was made at the annual New York City Technology Forum. The AWS City on a Cloud Innovation Challenge recognizes local and regional governments and developers that are innovating for the benefit of citizens using the AWS Cloud.
