Louisville Athletics is pulling out all the stops for its top-notch soccer program. The university is giving last year’s national runners-up the biggest stage they can. After a professional introduction video, live national anthem, and fireworks, Louisville has certainly committed a lot of money and effort to what has normally been a second tier sport. Three UofL Athletes Arrested on Drug Charges

Two members of Louisville’s Men’s Soccer team and one member of the Diving team were arrested on the 500 block of Barbee Avenue Tuesday. Nick DeLeon, Brock Granger, and Cameron Dehn were found with a large amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and were charged with one count of drug trafficking and one count of possession. Drug trafficking is a felony and will likely mean the end of their careers. Three other members of the soccer team were cited with possession of drug paraphernalia. Basketball fans in Kentucky have got to be giddy with the fine meal they are being served right now. With the conference tournament appetizers, high school sweet 16s for the first course, and the main course NCAA tourney just around the corner; things are heating up.
