Louisville’s Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular begins this week

Louisville, KY., – The pumpkins are back and, once again, they have taken over Iroquois Park. The Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular kicks off this Thursday, Oct. 8 and runs through Nov. 1. Roughly 5,000 carved pumpkins line a ¼-mile walking trail, illuminated at night as an “art show” daily from dusk to 11 p.m. during the week (Sunday-Thursday) and midnight on Friday & Saturday. Music and themed scenes guide guests through the soft surface, woodland path. Docents are stationed along the trail and are available for assistance as needed.
