Nine businesses receive loans from LouisvilleKY

Louisville, KY., – Since March 2018, nine businesses have been approved for loans totaling nearly $1 million by the Louisville Metro Departments of Economic Development and Resilience and Community Services. The loans will leverage a total investment of more than $9 million and will assist the businesses to open, expand services or rehabilitate properties. Louisville Ky residents can soon apply for help to pay those utility bills

Assistance Program Begins Jan. 11 All applicants must make an appointment Louisville, Ky., – The annual program that helps prevent low-income residents of Louisville from being disconnected from utility services begins Monday, Jan. 11, 2016. LIHEAP, the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program, is administered by Louisville Metro Department of Community Services. The Crisis Phase of LIHEAP will run from Jan. 11 – March 31, or as long as available funds last.
