The second annual Horseshoe Foundation FamFest is set for Friday, June 14, in Downtown New Albany. The event was originally scheduled for April 19 but was postponed due to inclement weather. Louisville, KY. –  Racing fans cheered tonight as GE Appliances (Team 1) won the Champions Division of the Great Bed Races with a time of 34.1. St. Elizabeth Catholic Charities won the won the Fun Division with a time of 35.6.  40 teams pushed their decorated beds on wheels around the figure-eight course, competing for the fastest times.  Louisville, KY.  – With near perfect weather conditions, 25 balloons lifted off from Bowman Field Saturday morning in the BB&T Great Balloon Race. The race got underway just after 7 AM, as light wind took the balloons east toward Shelbyville Road.
