The University of Kentucky is unveiling a new Maker’s Mark bottle to help raise money. The Bottle A commemorative Maker’s Mark bottle featuring coaching legend Adolph Rupp was unveiled April 1, 2015, the first in a series of bottles that will help raise funds to expand the Center for Academic and Tutorial Services (CATS) at the University of Kentucky. Even though I’ve lived most of my life in the Bluegrass State, I humbly admit that I, in fact, have never been to Keeneland. Every year around this time, I mention this to friends who stare at me in crazed bewilderment. Oh, I’ve been to Oaks and Derby, the Churchill Fall meet, the infield, even the nicer parts of the Clubhouse. But not Keeneland.
