Louisville, KY., – In what has become the must-see event of the Halloween season, the Jack O’ Lantern Spectacular has returned for its sixth consecutive year to south Louisville’s Iroquois Park, where 5,000 artistically carved pumpkins greet visitors now through November 4. The pumpkins will illuminate a 1/3-mile trail adjacent to the Iroquois Amphitheater, and event officials estimate up to 85,000 people will visit. The trail is open from dusk until 11 p.m., Sunday through Thursday, and until midnight on Friday and Saturday nights. Louisville, KY., – The Big Table, a welcoming event aimed at bringing people together to share food and conversation, is returning to Iroquois Park on Sunday, Sept. 16 from 5-7 p.m. Last year, more than 1,300 people participated in the event, and organizers hope to boost that number this year. The annual event is hosted by The Big Table, with major support from the Global Human Project and the Louisville Metro Office for Globalization. Louisville’s Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular begins this week

Louisville, KY., – The pumpkins are back and, once again, they have taken over Iroquois Park. The Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular kicks off this Thursday, Oct. 8 and runs through Nov. 1. Roughly 5,000 carved pumpkins line a ¼-mile walking trail, illuminated at night as an “art show” daily from dusk to 11 p.m. during the week (Sunday-Thursday) and midnight on Friday & Saturday.
