Here’s a Heuser Health Update

Many of you have followed my progress in getting healthy with Peggy Heuser of Heuser Health. Here’s an update: In early March 2018, I met with Peggy Heuser to get the results of the blood work she’d ordered for me. I had not had a physical or been to a doctor for more than three years. In 2015, I had fusion surgery done on my right ankle. Having been a serious athlete before that, I had stopped most activity. As a result of that, and an unhealthy diet, I had become obese and that day weighed 229 on her scale….

Heuser Health Optimization – One Month of Progress

Let’s start with the best news — after a month of adhering to a pretty strict diet, my Hemoglobin A1C level has dropped from 6.6 to 5.7. If the numbers mean nothing to you, Peggy Heuser tells me it’s fantastic, that I’ve gone from the diabetes danger zone to a pre-diabetes level. Seeing is believing when it comes to the Heuser Health’s optimization program. Without realizing it, I had fallen into the trap that many Americans do – eating crap. I had always been too busy, or too lazy, to eat nutritious foods. Sure, I hear in the media about the importance of diet, but to me it often meant mixing in a salad once a week. I certainly wasn’t intentional about my food intake, taking a lot of pleasure in the convenience and taste of fast food. Optimizing My Self with Heuser Health; Part 1

As a lifelong athlete, I’m aware that my recent lack of exercise, coupled with an unhealthy diet, has caused some adverse affects on my overall health. I’ve gained weight, of course, but also started to feel a little sluggish, and I get out of breath easy when I do move, and I feel my midsection growing with every bite of pizza.
