Thompson in his hometown of Louisville, KY, will return to Louisville Free Public Library on Saturday, April 14, 2018. This will mark the 8th year of the festival, which features poetry, spoken word, art, live music and more. LOUISVILLE, KY (January 23, 2017) – On Saturday, April 15, 2017 GonzoFest Louisville will celebrate the legacy of Hunter S. Thompson, creator of Gonzo journalism, at the Main branch of Louisville Free Public Library (LFPL), located at 301 York Street. The Louisville Free Public Library is the largest library system in Kentucky, comprised of 18 branch locations serving more than 3 million visitors per year.
