Louisville, KY.  – A Louisville woman became the first female to ever get closest to winning the Stock Yards Bank Derby Festival $1 Million Dollar Hole-In-One Golf Contest. Jessica Grainger came closest to the pin tonight at Seneca Golf Course, hitting her tee shot 9 feet 2 ¼ inches from the cup. She won the $5,000 first prize. This was the first time Grainger has qualified for the finals. “I can’t believe it! Louisville, KY.  – It’s time to take your shot at $1 million! The Stock Yards Bank Kentucky Derby Festival $1 Million Dollar Hole-In-One Golf Contest opens Thursday, April 19, and runs through Sunday, April 29. The contest will take place at the Seneca Golf Course Driving Range off Pee Wee Reese Road. There will be 10 days of preliminary qualifying rounds and a Semi-final Round on Sunday, April 29. The preliminary competition is open 10 AM to 8:30 PM everyday from April 19 – April 28, except for April 21, when it will be closed for Thunder Over Louisville. The addition brings a marquee golf destination to Parks and Recreation’s portfolio of courses, including nine municipally run tracks located within the Louisville Metro area. Our Journal Project – Day 4 LUKE: School today was filled with constitution packets, notes, physic quizzes, and boring French stuff. This is my first day of my journal where I had work at least. I work at Wildwood private golf course so most days lately have been real slow.
