Cuban art sale to benefit LouisvilleKY graduate students

LOUISVILLE, KY — The University of Louisville Center for Sustainable Urban Neighborhoods (http://sun.louisville.edu) is holding a special sale of original artwork by Cuban artists through April 1 at City Cafe on Broadway.   In all, 35 pieces by prominent Cuban artists are available in the collection, including some pieces acquired from the National Art Gallery of Cuba. Others were obtained by Professor John Gilderbloom during dozens of trips to the island nation on friendship tours sponsored by the U.S. State Department of the U.S. Government between 1997-2016. Only groups with permission from the U.S. State Department can legally travel there, and this is the first U of L group to go.
