Give-A-Jam to end LouisvilleKY homelessness set for December 21st

Louisville, Kentucky  –  The 7th Annual Give-A-Jam to End Homelessness will be held on Thursday, December 21st from 6:00pm-11:00pm at the Clifton Center, 2117 Payne Street. The evening will feature performances by local musicians and artists, soups from Louisville’s best chefs, a silent auction and a cash bar. Admission is $25 in advance and $30 at the door, and includes $10 worth of food/drink tickets.   Louisville, KY (January 5, 2017) – The fastest rising group of the homeless population, both locally and nationwide, are young adults age 18-24. From 2008 to 2009, 2009 to 2010, and again from 2010 to 2011, the number of homeless young adults in Louisville doubled, reaching a peak of 562 in 2013. Louisville offers One-stop homeless outreach this week

LOUISVILLE, KY (October 5, 2015) – Louisville’s homeless population will have an opportunity to access services, information and assistance in a one-stop environment at the 2015 Project Homeless Connect/VA Stand Down, on Wednesday, October 7. Resources available at the event will include food, clothing, medical evaluations, help with employment, education and benefit services and many other forms of assistance.
