Give-A-Jam to End Homelessness to be held December 20th at New LouisvilleKY Venue

Louisville, Kentucky –  The Give-A-Jam to End Homelessness will be held for the first time at Headliners Music Hall, 1386 Lexington Road, on Thursday, December 20th from 7:00pm-11:00pm. Previously held at the Clifton Center, the 8th annual event is a fundraiser for the Coalition for the Homeless’s efforts to end youth, veteran and chronic homelessness in Louisville. New Program Assists Homeless Families in LouisvilleKY

Louisville, KY  – In an effort to address the severe lack of emergency shelter beds for approximately 70 homeless families on the waiting list, the Coalition for the Homeless began implementing a new program in July aimed at diverting and reducing family homeless in the community. So far, the Family Prevention and Diversion program has worked with approximately 100 families and was successful in helping 90 families secure or maintain stable housing. Louisville, KY – Six local breweries are doing their part to end youth homelessness in our community by competing in the 2nd Annual Craft Beer Throwdown on Thursday, October 11. This popular event is spearheaded by the Coalition for the Homeless Associate Board and will benefit the organization’s efforts to end youth and young adult homelessness. Bourbon Mixer will Offer Unique Bourbon Cocktails and Treats Louisville, Kentucky (July 21, 2016) – Thirteen bourbon distilleries are pulling out all the stops to showcase their bourbons at the upcoming Bourbon Mixer, a fundraiser for the Coalition for the Homeless hosted by the Whisky Chicks and the Bourbon Brotherhood.
