In a unanimous decision from the judges who were aboard both boats, the hometown Belle was declared the winner of the 57th annual race against her upriver rival, the Belle of Cincinnati. Louisville, KY.   – The Battle of the Belles returns to the Ohio River this week. The Belle of Louisville, and her rival from up river, the Belle of Cincinnati, will compete in this year’s Kentucky Derby Festival Great Steamboat Race Presented by IBEW Local 369, set for 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1.  The 14-mile course on the Ohio River starts and finishes at the Clark Memorial Bridge. KDF Poker Tournament takes to Louisville’s Waterfront Today

Louisville, KY.   – There is sure to be a full house at the 9th annual Kentucky Derby Festival Texas Hold‘Em Poker Tournament today (Tuesday, April 28).  The event returns on board the Belle of Cincinnati, which will be docked at Kroger’s Fest-a-Ville on the Waterfront.
