LOUISVILLE, KY – Mayor Greg Fischer and the Louisville Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) team up to host “Lou’s Brews Bike Tour” Saturday, August 29 to celebrate local breweries
The tour will stop at five breweries giving riders a chance to explore the unique locations and speak with the brewers.
“Our team, along with the CVB, just released a new physical and virtual map that spotlights 14 Louisville area breweries,” Fischer said. “This ride is a great way for us to put it to use and encourage others to celebrate the food and beverage scene that continues to make Louisville attractive for residents and visitors.”
The tour will begin at Great Flood Brewing, 2120 Bardstown Road, at 10 a.m. and stop at Apocalypse, Goodwood and Against the Grain breweries. Falls City Brewery will be the final stop at approximately 2 p.m. – a street festival, free and open to the public, at the 10th street location will provide a rewarding end to the ride.
This is the first of three rides to explore all 14 craft breweries in Louisville and Southern Indiana including: Against the Grain, Akasha, Apocalypse, Monnik Beer Co., Cumberland Brews, Donum Dei Brewery, Falls City, Flat 12 Bierwerks, Goodwood, Gordon Biersch, Great Flood, New Albanian and various locations of BBC.
