Louisville, KY., – If you thought Louisville Burger Week was a culinary delight, just wait until November when the city enjoys its own Pizza Week.
From Nov. 12-18, Louisville’s most popular pizzerias will offer $8 pizzas.
“Louisville Pizza Week is seven days of paying homage to all things ‘za, no matter how you slice it. Each participating restaurant will bake up their own spin on the wheel – from signature pies to secret menu specialties and more,” according to the promotional event’s website. “Let your Pizza Week Passport take you on a Louisville exploration; map out your week, try new restaurants, challenge your taste buds, and share your experiences on social with other Louisville pizza lovers.”
Louisville Pizza Week passports will be distributed to help guide folks to participating restaurants. One full pizza ordered equals one stamp on the passport. Three or more stamps enters the customer in a drawing for $250 in gift cards.
Participating restaurants, so far, include Mellow Mushroom St. Matthews, Sarino, Parlour, Danny Mac’s Pizza, Pizza Bar, Sullivan’s Tap House, Griff’s, BoomBozz (all locations), DiOrio’s, and Bubba’s 33. More are expected to be added over the coming weeks.
