BARDSTOWN, KY – The world-famous Kentucky Bourbon Festival announced today that they’ve been creatively retooling since celebrating their
silver anniversary in 2016. They launched a sleek new logo to jump-start the 2017 celebrations as well as the festival’s first official message on responsible drinking.
Designed by Vimarc, a Louisville-based advertising agency, the new logo features an original illustration of a Glencairn nosing glass – the tasting glass of choice for many master distillers – holding a Bourbon pour. Wherever space allows, the fresh new logo will also feature the festival’s inaugural corporate responsibility messaging, which reads:
_Too much Bourbon? Not a good thing._
_Consume with care._
“The Kentucky Bourbon Festival has been evolving right alongside the booming Bourbon industry since the festival’s beginning 25 years
ago,” said Executive Director Jill Hawkins. “The new logo offers a clean, more modern feel to help us continue attracting future generations of Bourbon lovers and industry professionals. But perhaps more importantly, the addition of our corporate responsibility message helps us shine a spotlight on the festival’s foundationally conscientious approach to responsible drinking.”
