Starting Monday July 15th, Goodwood Brewing will begin daily lunch service. The brewery has announced it is expanding its hours of operations, opening at 11:00am seven days a week.
The Galley at Goodwood serves up a southern style, made from scratch menu that infuses their pitmasters inspirations with their brewmasters delicious creations. Their menu is full of smoked, grilled and charred flavors that have a natural affinity for beer. Meats are slow-smoked in-house. Specialties include house smoked brisket, pulled pork nachos and house dry rub wings. “The food stays true to the Goodwood brand- it’s laid back, approachable and just an all-around solid product” says marketing director Molly Burke.
Award winning pitmaster, Jared Day, is the executive chef who brings 15+ years of experience to Goodwood. Prior to joining Goodwood, Day, traveled the country participating in barbecue competitions with the Pigfoot Barbecue team, winning hundreds of awards over the years.
“We are excited about our new hires and growing our team. Our staff continues to bring ideas and inspiration to the table in both our brewing and culinary departments that have allowed for us to expand our operating hours” says managing partner Brandon True.
New items will be added as they grow and expand. Goodwood offers to-go items and has catering options.
