Louisville, KY., – Officials with Passport Health Plan, metro government and other local officials have broken ground on a new 337,000 square foot, four story building at 18th Street and Broadway. The building, along with three connected structures called “pods”, is slated to open in 2020. Story from Louisville, Ky., – Louisville Metro and Airbnb have announced the finalization of an agreement that will allow the company to collect and remit taxes on behalf of its hosts in Louisville and Jefferson County. Effective April 1, Airbnb will automatically collect and remit the Louisville Transient Room Tax (8.5%) for taxable bookings. Louisville, KY – The Greater Louisville Association of Realtors® (GLAR) reported sales up 2.09% in 2017 compared to 2016.  The average price was up 5.69% and the median price was up 5.03%. In Jefferson County, the average price in 2017 was $207,127 and the median was $168,900. For all MLS areas, the inventory of available properties was 13.86% lower than at the same time last year.
