Louisville, KY. –  Racing fans cheered tonight as GE Appliances (Team 1) won the Champions Division of the Great Bed Races with a time of 34.1. St. Elizabeth Catholic Charities won the won the Fun Division with a time of 35.6.  40 teams pushed their decorated beds on wheels around the figure-eight course, competing for the fastest times.  Louisville, KY.  – With near perfect weather conditions, 25 balloons lifted off from Bowman Field Saturday morning in the BB&T Great Balloon Race. The race got underway just after 7 AM, as light wind took the balloons east toward Shelbyville Road. Louisville, KY.   – Runners participating in the Humana Kentucky Derby Festival miniMarathon and Marathon® can pick up their race packets beginning tomorrow at the Race Expo and Packet Pick-Up.
