It’s difficult to describe the Forecastle crowd — it spans the spectrum of humanity. All ages, body types, dress and levels of outrageousness. NuLu’s Honest Home Features New Rework Collective Line

LOUISVILLE, KY – Rework Collective, a new small batch manufactured furniture line located in downtown Louisville will launch their first collection on August 7th at Honest Home.  The launch coincides with the first Friday Trolley Hop in NuLu. Melding traditional and non-traditional concepts with artistic sensibility, the line uses reclaimed wood, repurposed metal, toxic free sealants, and the local Louisville workforce. Louisville’s Blight Out Project Saturday to Brighten Vacant Homes

Louisville, Ky., – Blight Out Brighten Up is back for 2015. Public Works is partnering with the Department of Codes and Regulations to sponsor the third Blight Out Brighten Up event. The event uses citizen volunteers to paint boards that are used to secure abandoned properties. Painting is scheduled for Saturday, May 16 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. All volunteers need to bring is their imaginations. Painting necessities will be supplied.
